Thank you to everyone who attended last week’s parent-teacher conferences! It was inspiring to see so many of you connecting with our teachers and staff, forming the relationships that truly help our students succeed. Your involvement and partnership are central to our school community, and we’re grateful for the time, care, and commitment you dedicate to your child’s education.
We’d also like to extend a special thank you to our teachers for their unwavering dedication and preparation, which made these conversations meaningful and insightful for all involved.
If you weren’t able to attend, it’s not too late to connect with your child’s teachers! Open communication between home and school is essential to student success. To discuss your child’s progress, effort, and overall experience, please feel free to reach out to teachers directly by calling 258-4730. We’re here to support you and your child every step of the way.
Warm regards,
Mr. Joachim
Learning and Teaching Highlights!
The 8th-grade students are gearing up for an exciting case-based lab experience in partnership with Washington State University's School of Medicine, where they’ll get hands-on insights into medical case studies!
Ms. Barr is helping her 4th graders understand improper fractions by explaining that these "top-heavy" fractions have a numerator that’s greater than or equal to the denominator.
This week is our first parent meeting
of the school year. Tuesday @ 8:30
Come and connect with Mr. Joachim!
Because of You, Life Doesn’t Stop
Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. This could be a little girl in the ICU or a mother with Stage 3 leukemia. If you’re worried about needles, don’t be—most blood donors compare the experience to a mild, split-second pinch! The entire process is very safe and very fast, and you will feel amazing knowing you potentially saved up to three people.
You can donate blood this Tuesday in the High School Library!
