Incoming 9th Grade Parent Night

The 2024-2025 Masters meet was an extraordinary weekend of highs and lows. After finishing in a nail-bitingly close 2nd place to Durham last year, we knew going in that the team race would be, once again, perilously close. After a tremendous two days of performances, our boys were able to get back on top, winning our fifth Masters title in the past six years! Our girls finished third – another strong showing for our continuing development of our girls group.

Let’s take a look at the kids who left it all on the mat the last couple days and the last several months before some head to Bakersfield for State this week!

Students from Spanish Speakers 2 had the opportunity to meet and interview bilingual professionals from our community to learn about different career journeys and the value of bilingualism. Senior News

Megan Moural! 🎵💚

Megan is only in our jazz band and plays the bass with us! She has played the electric bass for 4 years and upright bass for two years. Her talent is shocking! 🎸

Outside of jazz, Megan works at Miniso in the mall! She is also on the Chico High Mock Trial team who recently had a huge win and got invited to the State Mock Trial competition in Los Angeles! ⚖️

In her free time Megan enjoys painting portraits and reading. She also likes to play music with her friends at the farmers market! (Cactus Avenue) 🌵

Megan's dream school is UC Berkeley and she wants to major in linguistics or political science! She eventually plans to go into speech pathology or a job in the legislative government! 🏛️

We will miss Megan! ❤️💛
