The Weekly Update #4

Greetings, Jefferson Community!

The 2024-2025 school year is off to an amazing start. We have been working hard to build relationships and community both in the classroom and building wide. I am always amazed at how welcoming our students are to our newest Jefferson Falcons. It is not unusual to see students check in on one another, or offer to help a student who may need it. Our upper grade students are especially good at comforting our littlest students, reassuring them , and providing encouraging words. Thank you for sending your students to school well rested and ready to learn!

Imagine our surprise and excitement when the dragon hot air balloon landed right here at Jefferson! Students were able to get a close up of the balloon and basket. The pilot and crew were very generous with their time and spent almost an hour letting our students take turns enjoying the balloon.

At Jefferson, we value the relationship between parents, teachers, and the community! Everyone is welcome to attend our PTA meetings. Please feel free to stop in and see what our PTA is all about.
