Incredible start to our school year! We have had so many amazing activities and learning taking place at James Madison School #10. We will be sending out two newsletters each month. This will keep you updated on what is happening at James Madison School #10. The staff and I want to wish everyone a wonderful holiday break, and a very Happy New Year! Our school had a fun and fabulous December! This month we have been focusing on ways that we can show empathy. Our Kindness Squad had their first meeting, and they are filled with wonderful ideas for the New Year! Stay tuned for a great group ready to spread kindness around our school!
Our annual Grinch Day was on December 19th! The students have been working hard to help their classroom hearts grow by showing respect and kindness to all.

James Madison School Kid Composers
This past month, Music Makers had the incredible opportunity to work with the 3rd grade class to compose their own songs. Through creative exploration, the kids enthusiastically wrote lyrics, created melodies, and recorded their musical masterpieces. The environment was filled with fun and learning as the students delved into the world of music composition. Our in-class studio & mentorship provided hands-on experience and invaluable guidance. Principal Alfonso was instrumental in making this endeavor come to fruition with his unwavering support, and the collaboration with the wonderful and supportive music teacher, Ms. Pederson, as well as the dedicated staff, was truly inspiring. This project not only highlighted the students' creativity but also underscored the power of community and mentorship in fostering artistic growth.
