2024–2025 CCSD Districtwide Survey
Attention NVLA Community
Parents/guardians, students, and staff are encouraged to participate in the Clark County School District Annual Survey. This survey is essential to providing feedback on our progress toward District priorities, meeting Board and Nevada Department of Education requirements, and supporting our ongoing improvement efforts.
Survey Details:
- Opened: Monday, October 28, 2024
- Closes: 5:00 p.m., Friday, December 20, 2024
- Participation Requirement: At least 75% of eligible students in Grades 4-12
The survey takes less than 10 minutes and is a vital part of the District’s annual self-assessment. Your feedback makes a difference, so please take a moment to complete the survey and help us reach our goal!
Parent/Guardian Survey
Parents/Guardians are encouraged to submit their 2024–2025 Districtwide Parent/Guardian Survey online using a computer, laptop, or other mobile device at https://www.ccsd.net/survey. Any parent/guardian with children enrolled at the school are eligible to take the survey.
Student Survey
Students can access the 2024–2025 Districtwide Student Survey at https://www.ccsd.net/survey. Please note that the survey is to be completed by students in Grades 4 through 12. To access the Student Survey, students must type in their student ID number and birthdate to complete the survey. Students must complete more than half of the survey in order to count as a participant.
Staff Survey
Staff can access the 2024–2025 Districtwide School Staff Survey at https://www.ccsd.net/survey. If a staff member is working in a remote location that is not part of CCSD’s network, they will be prompted to enter a password.

Honoring Native American Heritage Month
This month, we celebrate and honor the rich cultures, traditions, and histories of Native American communities across the nation. Native American Heritage Month is a time to recognize the invaluable contributions that Native peoples have made, and continue to make, to our society.
From storytelling and art to knowledge of the land and wisdom passed down through generations, Native American heritage is woven into the fabric of our country. Let’s take this time to educate ourselves, uplift Native voices, and show respect and appreciation for the diversity of cultures and languages that Native communities bring.
Let’s celebrate, learn, and stand together in recognition of Native American Heritage Month.

Exciting news! Students can join the UAS4STEM Drone Engineering Challenge and the FAA Airport Design Challenge—two unique opportunities to explore STEM careers and develop real-world skills!

Overview: In this challenge, students will build, code, and fly a drone to solve real-world problems, competing with teams worldwide!
Who Can Join?: Open to all experience levels, from beginner to advanced.

Overview: Sponsored by the FAA, this challenge allows students to design an airport in Minecraft, exploring aerospace and airport design.

Hi NVLA students:
I am Mrs. Attebery, Counselor, who will be signing you up for the optional ASVAB Career Explorations Program. This assessment is not only for those interested in going into the military. It is for ALL students who want to explore their interests and how those interests can be connected to career opportunities.
***Test is open to 10th, 11th, and 12th graders
***The test must be taken on campus as you need the test code to take the assessment, so keep that in mind when deciding to sign up.
Test will be given:
December 11, 2024
Time: 9:00 am (Arrival 8:30 am)
Hours: 9:00 am -Noon (test is self-timed so may be quicker, but for planning expect around 4 hours)
Results: January 22nd @ 9:00 am (online test interpretation presentation)

Note for Students NEW to CCSD: If you are a brand new student to CCSD please be advised that you will not have access to your Canvas course information for a minimum of 48 hours from your initial enrollment date for the 24-25 school year.
However, you may still access class using your personal device and the instructions from the welcome letter.
