Dear Field Parents and Guardians,
We hope you've had a good week! As a reminder, we do not have school on Monday, February 17th in honor of Presidents' Day.
If you haven't already, please do take a moment to register your children for school for the upcoming year. The deadline is March 14th. Registering by this deadline allows us to hire and plan for the number of classrooms we need for our students. Right now, we have about 300 students registered. We expect 330 more to register in the next 6 weeks! Please take a few minutes to do your children's registration today!
Now that cold weather is here, please be sure that your children bring the appropriate winter weather gear (snow pants, boots, warm coats, etc), as we do go outside for recess most days. Our weather guidelines for the District are pictured below in this newsletter. Please be sure these items are labeled with your child's name.
A few reminders:
- Please review my Arrival & Dismissal Safety email from December 5th. Please help us be good neighbors!
- Winter has arrived - please send your child(ren) to school with winter weather gear.
- Please remember that there is no supervision before or after school on the playground or blacktop. Children should be supervised by a grown-up.
- Please be sure you call the main office as early in the day as possible if your child is not taking the bus home.
