I hope this letter finds you well and that you have enjoyed a restful and rejuvenating summer break! As we approach the start of the school year, I am excited to welcome each of you back to Millennium for what promises to be an exceptional year filled with opportunities for growth, learning, and achievement.

We have been diligently preparing for the upcoming year and are available to assist you with any questions you might have. Please reach out to us during our office hours of 7:30-2 daily, starting next week.

Enjoy the last couple of weeks of summer!

Elementary classroom assignments and middle school student schedules will be released via Infinite Campus Parent Portals on Monday, August 5, 2024. Transportation information will be available in portals on Friday, August 9.

Please contact your school office if you need assistance with your parent portal.

We are looking forward to enjoying popsicles, dancing with the DJ and saying hello to friends we missed over the summer! This is a great way to kick off the start to the year.

Kindergarten Roundup is Thursday, August 15, from 9:00 to 10:00 am

This is a special time for students and their families to meet their principal and teachers and to find out everything they'll need to know for the first day of school.

Middle School Student/Parent Walkthrough is Wednesday, August 7, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 5:00 to 8:00 pm.

The walkthrough provides an opportunity for parents to purchase locks, gym suits, spirit wear, pick up pre-ordered school supply kits, etc. Students and parents may also walk through the building to familiarize themselves with the location of classes and lockers.

Please note that students can only enter the building if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please contact the Grissom or Prairie View school office if you have any questions regarding the walkthrough.

Please make plans to attend our elementary and middle school open houses:

• Tuesday, August 20 – Elementary Open House for Early Childhood, Preschool, and K-5 families from 6:00 to 7:30 pm

• Monday, August 26 – Middle School Open House from 6:00 to 7:30 pm

Parents and students are welcome to view their schools, meet their teachers, and visit with our PTOs.
