Virtual Family Game Day/Night
The Family Engagement Committee is thrilled to host a live Google Meet session on February 28th, with two time slots available: 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
We will introduce our committee members during this central meeting and explain the event's purpose. We’ll start with a fun icebreaker activity and share valuable family resources to encourage connection.
Afterward, we’ll have breakout rooms for various interactive games, providing students and families with a fun space to engage in virtual games together. Suggested games for the breakout rooms include:
- GimKit
- Escape Room
- Let’s Draw Together
- Get to Know Each Other with an “I Wonder” Activity

Grades 10 & 11 Students: Free Academic Coaching Services
Invitation to High Achieving & Accomplished Grades 10 & 11 Students:
If you are interested in attending a selective college or university and would like to compete for admissions and scholarships, then consider working with the Academic Coaching Services (ACS) Foundation/Dawson College Bound (DCB) to assist with your preparation. ACS Foundation/DCB provides low-middle income families with FREE academic support to achieve their academic and college admissions goals. Their program includes:
- ACT/SAT prep courses
- tutoring for advanced math courses (precalculus, AP Calculus)
- science (AP Chemistry, Physics) and social sciences (AP US History, etc.)
- selective college admissions advising
- selective college applications & essay assistance
Every student selected for the DCB program will receive a minimum $1,000.00 scholarship to the college of their choice, although they will work with partner colleges and scholarship programs to obtain additional funding. Financial support for transportation will also be provided to academic competitions, camps/seminars, and service activities as needed. A limited number of students (16 per cohort) will be selected each academic year for the program. Applications will open March 3, 2025 and will end when seats are filled. Discount Circus Caballero Vegas Tickets
Circus Caballero circus is a show filled with acrobats, jugglers, motorcycle riders, high wire walkers, handstand balancing, a headline clown named “The Prince of Clowns Tuty Fruit” and more. The production has an international group of dancers who enhance every act and every production within the show. The circus lasts 2 hrs with a 15 minute intermission.
