🌍✨ Peace Week 2025 at NVLA ✨🌍

January 20–25, 2025, is designated as Peace Week in the State of Nevada. This week is a time for education, reflection, and action to foster empathy, understanding, and solidarity within and across communities.

At NVLA, we’re proud to embrace this important initiative with a series of meaningful activities:

🌟 Day 1: January 21, 2025 – Reflection and Meditation on Peace
Take time to reflect on what peace means to you. Engage in moments of meditation to foster a sense of calm and mindfulness.

🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ Day 2: January 22, 2025 – Walks and Assemblies for Peace
Participate in a peace walk or assembly to raise awareness for peaceful actions. Let’s stand together and show our commitment to nonviolence.

🎨✍️ Day 3: January 23, 2025 – Creative Expressions for Peace
Students and staff are encouraged to express their vision for a peaceful world through art, poetry, storytelling, or other creative outlets. Let’s inspire connection and hope through creativity.

🤍 Day 4: January 24, 2025 – Wear White, Peace Symbols, and Create a Banner for Peace
Show your support for peace by wearing white and peace symbols. Together, we’ll create a banner promoting peace and community, demonstrating our unified dedication to a more harmonious world.

Let’s come together as a school to advance the prospects of peace and build a stronger, more empathetic community.

However, you may still access class using your personal device and the instructions from the welcome letter.
