The BSU provides a platform that empowers our community and promotes solidarity within Nevada Learning Academy. Through educational, social, and political programming, we aim to create a space where ALL students can learn about African/Black American history, culture, and strive for academic excellence. Together, we celebrate the beauty, diversity, and strength of the Black community, while fostering pride in our history, our future, and ourselves.

I am Mrs. Attebery, Counselor, who will be signing you up for the optional ASVAB Career Explorations Program. This assessment is not only for those interested in going into the military. It is for ALL students who want to explore their interests and how those interests can be connected to career opportunities.
***Test is open to 10th, 11th, and 12th graders
***The test must be taken on campus as you need the test code to take the assessment, so keep that in mind when deciding to sign up.
Test will be given:
December 11, 2024
Time: 9:00 am (Arrival 8:30 am)
Hours: 9:00 am -Noon (test is self-timed so may be quicker, but for planning expect around 4 hours)
Results: January 22nd @ 9:00 am (online test interpretation presentation)

Gifted And Talented Education (GATE). A class offered online to 3rd-5th graders who think outside the box. The class offers critical thinking skills, creative thinking skills, hands-on engineering projects and the class has fun projects!
