Important Dates for the week of January 22nd:

• Spring Play begins throughout the weekend with first performance Jan 26th at 7pm.

Here is some important Course Verification information from our NNHS School Counselors:

Freshmen Parents: 2024-25 Course Verification Recap

Freshmen students had their individual course verification meetings with their school counselor the week of December 11-15. During that time, your student and their counselor discussed their course selection for the 2024-25 school year. Prior to that meeting, your student received a presentation on Career Pathways and Endorsements, as well as a presentation on the Course Selection Hyperdoc. These resources were shared with students and parents to assist in the course selection process. We also wanted to let you know that the window to change any course selections for the 2024-25 school year close on Friday, January 26. After that point and time, changes will only be made after the 2024-25 course schedule is run, and only if space is available. If your student would like to make any changes, they need to let their school counselor know before Friday, January 26. We hope this information, as well as the links shared above, help you and your student better understand the wonderful opportunities District 203 has available for our students.

NNHS Boosters Senior Fashion Show - Please mark your calendar with these upcoming dates:

• Monday, 1/29/24: Model Moms Committee meeting, 7 pm in Room 108 (Model Moms only, other volunteers do not need to attend)
• Monday, 2/12/24: ALL Fashion Show Volunteers, 7 pm in Room 108
• Monday, 2/26/24: Rehearsal for Senior Models, 7:30 - 9:30 pm in the Large Cafe. Every Senior Model must attend!
• Tuesday, 2/27/24: ALL Fashion Show Volunteers, 7 pm in Room 108
• Sunday, March 3, 2024: FASHION SHOW

Dress Up 203: Dress Up 203 believes every student should have the opportunity to attend their school dance in style. This organization is dedicated to making prom dreams come true for NNHS and NCHS students who do not have the means to afford formal attire. Their mission is to provide youth in need with the opportunity to attend their prom with confidence and style. They believe every young person deserves the chance to experience this memorable milestone without financial burdens.

Journey Through the Galápagos: Current 8th - 11th grade students have a unique opportunity to travel to the Galápagos Islands over Spring Break in 2025! This eco-driven tour offers students a firsthand learning experience of one of the most fragile ecosystems in our world. Students will discover these islands and follow in Charles Darwin’s footsteps, complete with swimming, snorkeling, and hiking alongside exotic animals! Spring Sports: Calling all spring athletes! Registration is now open for Spring Sports. All students wishing to try-out/compete, must have a current physical on file in the Athletic Office and be registered on our NNHS Athletic Website before starting.
