Kasper's Notes
Hello Mayo Families,
I hope you are inside on this rainy Sunday, and weren't too disappointed with the Patriots game (again). We had a great Choose to be Nice Celebration this week with 72 certificates awarded! It was great to see classmates cheering for each other. I even witnessed a girl crying tears of joy when her sister's name was called as a recipient of a Kindness Certificate! Adorable!
I know I said this before, but I want to be sure all families are aware of the new layout this year for the Holiday Concert schedule. Our fabulous concert will be held on December 21st. We will keep an eye on the forecast and if a storm is predicted on the concert date (12/21), we will move it to the "snow date" of 12/20. We will be having 2 shows. 10:00 AM for audience/family members for student last names A-M and 2:00 PM for audience/family members for student last names N-Z! ALL students will be performing at both concert times so everyone will be able to see all performers. This performance will include K-5 students plus our new chorus members in grades 4&5!
Picture retakes took place Friday. We will send home pictures as soon as we receive them! Also, Grade 5 had a visit from the Worcester County District Attorney's office. Always great information!
We are having the Playground inspected next week. I will keep you posted! Also next week, the first meeting for the Grade 5 Environmental Club. I anticipate great things from these kids!
Have a wonderful week!
Kindly,
Carolan Kasper
Principal
