From 2:30pm to 9pm join us for VENTURE DAY MADRID, showcasing startups from IE's Venture Lab Accelerator and IE Alumni. An exciting afternoon of insight from seasoned entrepreneurs who have scaled or are scaling their startups awaits you, as well as pitches from our semifinalists and finalists. Kicking off our afternoon is Mark Turrell, who will set the tone for the rest of Venture Day with his Keynote Address titled: “50 Shades of Scaling: Experiences from the TourismTech and EdTech sectors”. The Venture Lab is IE Business School’s startup accelerator. Venture Lab takes teams, consisting of at least one current student or alumnus/a, through a process of idea/market validation based on the Lean Startup method. The goal is to create investor-ready business ventures by Venture Day, (i.e. our “demo day”).
Venture Lab teams receive training, mentorship and access to IE’s Area 31 coworking space and resources to assist them in taking the necessary steps to validate their market assumptions, pivot as necessary and execute investor-ready ventures.
