Reading Strategies: Visualizing, retelling the story, understanding the role of characters
Math: Addition/subtraction stories, comparing numbers #1-10
Writing: Name writing, pencil grip, drawing to share a story and idea
Science: How do animals make their home in the forest?
Social Studies: Our Rights
Religion: God gives us water, learning about Jesus together, God abounds in love, praying with song and gestures, church as a community
Social and Emotional Learning: Building community - students discuss what it means to belong to a community, and then work together to create a representation of their classroom community.
Social Skills: Following instructions, greeting others/introducing yourself
Virtue of the Month: Respect
