Additional Information

• All Kindergarten and 1st grade students receive free transportation and do not need to register. You must, however, contact your child’s school if your Kindergarten or Gr.1 student will need transportation for the upcoming school year.
  

• Students who wish to receive transportation and qualify for Free/Reduced lunch are required to register for Fee for Service Transportation if the Bus Eligibility Type is listed as 'Fee for Service' in the school street listing.

• Fee for Service registration does not guarantee transportation services.
  
• One application per family is required.
  
• Only one address is allowed for transportation. Students may only ride their assigned bus each day.

• Current proof of residency is required at the time of registration (examples: utility bill dated within the past 45 days, copy of most recent mortgage payment, driver’s license without address sticker on back, etc.)
  
• Bus stop locations will be released in late August, before the start of school. If you have questions about your student's bus stop, please call the school directly.
  
• There will be a “registration freeze” after the July 29, 2022, deadline. This time-period is necessary to finalize bus lists and verify ridership. We will not be able to guarantee a seat on the bus for the start of the school year for anyone who has not applied for transportation by the deadline. Late applications received after the enrollment period are on a waiting list and beginning Monday, September 12, 2022, we will process applications on a first come, first serve basis.
• Fee for Service Applications must be completed on an annual basis. You must complete a new Fee for Service application each year. To learn if you qualify for Fee for Service transportation, please see the Bus Eligibility section below.

Bus Eligibility Definitions:

• Kindergarten and Grade 1 – Free Transportation (Registration not required)
• Bus - Free Transportation (Registration not required)
• Safety - Free Transportation (Registration not required)
• FFS - Fee for Service Transportation (Registration required)
• Walker – Not eligible for transportation

You can find your bus rider status on the current street listing found on our website, or simply view your eligibility in your student's Aspen profile. Please see the video and written instructions linked below to determine your student's bus eligibility status.

For families who register between Monday, May 9, 2022, through Friday, July 29, 2022, there will be a DISCOUNTED RATE OF:

1st Student $170.00

2nd Student $150.00

3rd Student $120.00

Total Cost for 2 students $320.00

Total Cost for 3 students $440.00

Maximum per family $440.00

Free or Reduced Lunch:

Fee for Service Waiver Guidelines:

Please refer to the Income Eligibility Guidelines on our website. Please note: updated guidelines are released in July of each year.

All students in Grades K-12 who are Attleboro residents and attend one of the private schools listed below need to register for transportation regardless of bus eligibility. Students who qualify for Fee for Service transportation per the guidelines listed above are required to complete a Fee for Service application with the Attleboro Public Schools Transportation Department.
