Principal's Message
Dear Mulino Families,
I hope you and your families are enjoying a wonderful weekend.
As we welcomed back students and staff from what was a restful Spring Break it was wonderful to see so many of our students back at school this past week, they had wonderful stories of their adventures and relaxing moments at home with family.
This week we are excited for more of our classes to experience the OMSI Portable Planetarium, a big thank you to our Mulino Parent Group for supporting this enriching activity.
Kindergarten Round-up is also this week and our fun-filled evening for Carnival! Please be sure to come by the school to enjoy Kona Ice and fun games and activities.
With a few short months left in the school year and so many great things left to learn and experience we are all truly grateful for your hard work and dedication to getting our students to school on time every day.
We are looking forward to a great week,
Principal Hall
Swimming Lessons
Our 5th graders will continue swimming this week, April 3-14th. Please ensure your student has a swimsuit that fits and they feel comfortable wearing a towel.
Kindergarten Round Up
Families and students of incoming kindergarteners are encouraged to attend this in-person event to learn more about kindergarten at Mulino. This will also be an opportunity for families to access our online registration tool.
If you are unable to make this event, please register your child, online, beginning April 14.
Employment Opportunities with MRSD
Mulino Parent Group
Hello Mulino Families!
Carnival is coming up, and the parent group board has open positions.
Carnival is on April 14th, and we need your help! Carnival is a free event for Mulino families hosted by your parent group. There will be 11 games, food, and Kona Ice. We need volunteers to help at each of our games. Please reach out if you can help!
At our next board meeting, on April 19, we will be discussing positions for the next school year. All positions are available and need to be filled for the parent group to continue. Previous board members are here to help, but we need new parents.
If we do not fill positions, unfortunately, the patent group will have to be dissolved.
Your current board is happy to help with a new board. The more help we can get, the less work for each person. If you are considering helping, or have any questions, please reach out.
Thank you,
Mulino Parent Group
Arab American Heritage Month
It takes a rich tapestry of people to make a nation the best it can be. During Arab American Heritage Month, we recognize the contributions of U.S. citizens of Middle Eastern descent. These notable Arab Americans have shaped our country in so many ways, including in the areas of government, business, fashion, entertainment, medicine, and so much more.
Millions of Americans wake up to Hoda Kotb, a host on the Emmy-award-winning Today Show on NBC. As a personality on the hugely popular morning program, she has helped the country stay informed by chatting with American leaders, artists, and new correspondents. She is also a breast cancer survivor and a vocal advocate for women’s health issues.
