LIMITED OPEN ENROLLMENT FOR 2024-25
At its December 12 meeting, the School Board passed a resolution opening enrollment to non-residents on a limited basis in grades K-5 for the 2024-25 school year. Applications are due by January 15, 2024. Learn more here.
Mounds View Public Schools continues to enroll more than 80% of its resident students, yet recent kindergarten enrollment has been smaller than the size of the graduating classes. This suggests that a smaller-sized enrollment bubble will continue to move through the grades each year. At the same time, Mounds View’s reputation as a Top 10 district continues to attract interest from non-resident families. Mounds View can meet a demand as well as address future declining enrollment by accepting non-resident students in grades and schools where their enrollment doesn’t negatively impact classroom sizes.
