PSAT Information
As previously shared, we are very pleased to offer all Juniors the opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT for FREE here at GLHS on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. All Juniors have been automatically signed up to take this test. Only sophomores who registered to take the test have been signed up to take the PSAT.
Additionally, we're very pleased to announce that students will take the PSAT digitally this year on their own school-issued Chromebook.
On Wednesday, October 11, there will be NO REGULAR CLASSES in session at GLHS. Students NOT taking the PSAT will complete work asynchronously from home. October 11th is neither an A Day nor a B Day.

If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to reach out to Mr. Kris Fuller ( fullerk@gjps.org), GLHS Assistant Principal.
SchooLinks
We are excited to introduce SchooLinks - a comprehensive website that students can use to learn about their strengths and interests, explore career options, and research colleges and scholarship opportunities.
With SchooLinks, students can:
Take surveys and quizzes to learn more about their interests and what careers might be right for them
Research careers and watch mentor videos to help them navigate the college and career planning process
Explore college profiles to learn information about campus life, the student body, and more
Learn about financial literacy and how decisions they make financially can impact them after they graduate
Find scholarships and more!
You will have the opportunity to join your student in their career and college exploration process through your own Guardian account. Check out this document to learn more about how to set up your guardian account.
SchooLinks allows you to:
View the results of your student's career interest, strength, and mindset assessments to learn more about their interests and what careers might be right for them
See what colleges and careers your student has starred and set as goals
Check your personalized dashboard for upcoming events as well as important reminders and to-dos for your student
Complete your own research on colleges, careers, and more to help you have informed conversations with your student
Compare college costs and explore expected financial aid, scholarships, and out of pocket expenses
Your student's school counselor can answer questions about SchooLinks and assist with access if needed. We hope you and your student find SchooLinks to be a great resource for discovery!
