The PTO is putting together a picnic meal for the teachers and staff during Parent/Teacher Conferences next week!

There will be NO Robotics club meeting this Tuesday, 10/3 as there are evening Parent/Teacher Conferences.

Parent/ Teacher Conferences:

Tuesday, October 3, 4:00 - 7:30 pm

Thursday, October 12

Monday, October 16, 8:30 am - 3:15 pm

To schedule a conference, you have 2 options.

1- Click on your child's team name to be taken directly to their conference sign up sheets.

2- Email the teachers directly and request a conference.

Conferences will be held VIRTUALLY, unless requested otherwise.

Oh yes. This is for reals. This year, the district has a FALL BREAK in October! I like to think this is to celebrate my birthday on October 13th, but it most likely is not at all the case.

Teachers and staff will still be in the school learning new things with Professional Development but STUDENTS GET A MUCH NEEDED BREAK! WOOHOO!!

So, when your kids come home and tell you all about how there is no school next week- you can know they are *almost* telling the truth. There IS school on Monday and Tuesday. ;)

The fundraiser will wrap up tomorrow and the order forms are due on Wednesday, October 4th.

It is NOT TOO LATE to turn in the coupons for all of the fun gummy items! And yes, you read the coupons correctly- gummy mac-n-cheese and gummy bacon are a real thing.

We are working on our 2nd Annual Flag Football tournament!

The Flag Football is TENTATIVELY scheduled for October 27th. We will be looking for volunteers to help make this possible!

The month of October is a busy month! Students will be completing a Panorama survey to provide us social emotional information. I will be visiting each classroom/team to complete our monthly guidance lesson. This month your student will either partake in a lesson about bullying or how to fight negative self talk. Gifted testing which was previously scheduled to take place in October will not be moved to spring. There will be more information to come! Information regarding holiday assistance will also be coming out soon so please be on the lookout for that!
