Message from the Meadows
...a weekly update from Mrs. Battaglia
Principal's Message - 9/29/23
Happy Friday, South Meadows' Families,
We topped off another great week with our first building wide Community Meeting today!
It was wonderful to have all of our staff and students together to talk about what our South Meadows' Community means and how we can all support one another to keep this a great place to grow and learn!

Walk to School Wednesdays
Did you know the Chelsea District Library does a weekly Walk to School Wednesday!? Students can meet at the front garden of the library by 7:25 and walk with Library staff to school! This Wednesday, October 4, is the State-wide Walk and Roll to School Day! Please consider joining us for Walk to School Wednesday!
Annual BESS Screener
In an effort to proactively meet the needs of the whole child, we will be conducting our annual social-emotional screener for all students. Teachers will be completing the screener for students in grades Y5-8. Students in grades 5-12 will be completing the student self screener between 10/16-10/27. For more information on the screener, click here. Please contact your child’s building principal with additional questions. If you would like to opt your child out of the screener for the 2023-2024 school year, please fill out this form prior to October 9th.
