ELC Family Newsletter
September 2023
We are thrilled to have our students back at the ELC and they are transitioning to the change in their routines very well! The ELC teachers and staff have been working hard to teach routines and procedures for students these past two weeks, and will continue to do so for weeks to come.
There are MANY opportunities for family fun and for volunteering these next two months. Please consider joining our PTO and participating in the upcoming events. The more volunteers we have, the better the events.
On September 19th, we are excited to open the doors for families to come experience our school and your child's classroom now that we in session. The goal for this event is to allow your child an opportunity to share and show you their classroom environment and to engage in a small fun activity together. We also hope that families will find the open house as a time to meet other families of children in their child's class. Please be sure to complete the survey after the event to let us know how it went and any suggestions you may have on how to improve it.
We will offer two sessions again, to help with overcrowding. If the session for your child does not work in your schedule, you are welcome to attend the other offering.
- 4:30-5:15 (Morning Session)
- 5:15-6:00 (Afternoon Session)
Emails will be sent this week to families who need to complete the ASQ-3 and ASQ-SE2 screeners. We will do our best not to send this information to families who have completed both since July 1, 2023. We are striving for 100% of our students enrolled to have guardians complete the screening to help reach our state goal. Thanks in advance for your help with this. Here is the link to the screenings for your reference: https://www.asqonline.com/family/859deb
We couldn't be happier with how well this school year has started off. Thank you to each of you for sharing your child with us during the most important years of their development.
