Notes From Dr. Sullivan
Job Opportunities at Neihardt
Resource Paraprofessional- This position involves working with an individual or small group of students on both reading and math. Hours are generally while students are in session.
CNA for the Health Room - This position requires a "certified nursing assistant" license. This person assists Mrs. Spencer in our Health Room on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the position is at Norris Elementary.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
We look forward to parent - conferences next week. Report cards will be given out during conferences.

BEHAVIOR INCENTIVE TICKET DRAWING
Our ticket drawing this month was for $10.00 to the Neihardt Book Fair. We had some very excited students to win this ticket drawing.

STUDENT COUNCIL - HAT DAY
Our first student council Spirit Day was a success! Neihardt students and staff raised a total of $180.00 to donate to Project Wee Care.

WATCH DOG SIGN UP
Schedule:
10:45 am - Help with recess
11:15 am -12:45 pm - Help in lunch room and have lunch with your child
12:45 pm - 1:00 pm - Have picture taken and patrol grounds
Volunteers will report to the office to check in at 10:45 a.m. We ask that at this time you only sign up to be a WATCH D.O.G. once to allow everyone the opportunity to volunteer in our building.
Only sign up for one slot so every dad has an opportunity to participate.

MILK PURCHASES WITH COLD LUNCHES
Milk is available for purchase for your child’s cold lunch. Because of Federal regulations regarding the school lunch program, all students must pay .50 cents per ala carte milk regardless of their qualifications for free/reduced status.
1. To purchase milk, submit payment into your www.myschoolbucks.com account,
or send cash or check to the school office.
Other options offered:
Send another drink with your child’s cold lunch.
Have your child ask for a cup to get water.
