Springmill STEM Family Update

Wow! That was a crazy week last week. I'm glad we at least got half of the days. It looks like we will be in the clear for this week - no impending doomsday storms coming.

GYM Class - Students need appropriate shoes for gym class. Many students are wearing boots to school due to the snow, but they don't work well for gym class for safety reasons. Please make sure your student has a pair of shoes they can use for gym on their gym day, otherwise they have to sit out of the fun. (If you do not have shoes, we can get you linked up with The Clothing Closet.)

Parent/teacher conferences are coming up fast! On February 9 and 16, teachers will be available for conferences. The preference is that parents come to the school, but we can be flexible and do phone calls or Zoom meeting if needed. Please contact your students' teachers to schedule.

While at the conference, be sure to stop in the cafeteria for a treat!

Letters were mailed out Friday for students in grades 3-6 to join the after school tutoring program. The program is to develop grade level skills and test taking strategies for the upcoming Ohio State Tests.

February 9 and 16th: Parent Teacher Conferences (sign up with Teacher)

February 17: No school (exchange day)

February 20: President's Day - no school

February 23: STEM Math Family Night! 5:30 - 7pm

March 10: End of 3rd 9 weeks; Teacher work day - no students

April 3 - April 10: Spring Break, no school
