Hello Cleveland Families!
After celebrating a fun Homecoming week, we are excited to welcome your students to our Homecoming dance tomorrow!
I have shared that my dream for Cleveland is to be a picture of MLK's Beloved Community where everyone belongs and everyone gets what they need. To help us get there, we know we must listen to our students and follow their lead. Toward this end, I am seeking nominations and/or self-nominations from students to build a student advisory council.
This group will meet once a month on Wednesdays during advisory and will advise specifically on issues related to community and belonging and access to academic opportunities and supports Our attention will focus specifically on the classroom experience of students and will make space for other concerns as they arise.
If you would like to nominate a student for the council, please fill out this form by Friday, October 13.
Please have a restful and restorative weekend with your family!

Assistant Principal Jacklyn Cable
Assistant Principal Laura Roesener

Math CASH (Cleveland After School Help) Starts on Monday!
Math CASH (Cleveland After School Help) will be starting on Monday after school in 2254 (Shirude’s room). This is a 1 hour opportunity for students to receive math support, homework help, quiz prep and retakes with math teacher(s), and Angel the math tutor. Snacks are available for students and students do not have to stay until 4:45, if they want/need to leave earlier they can! We take attendance, so we can let families know if their students come to CASH throughout the year.
