MVHS EdTech Tips
March 2018
This month's newsletter is all about ways to get immediate responses from students. Sometimes we find ourselves asking too many questions and forget that students need varying times for processing. And, how many questions have you asked that you seemed to be the only person who knew the answer?
Here are some edtech tools to engage students in actively responding to various types of questions. I may have shared a few of these before, but we all struggle with asking higher-level questions and providing all students the opportunity to show you what they know.
The tools do require some planning ahead. Selecting the right questions will help you align your learning objectives with your formative assessment questions. Student responses can help re-direct the lesson if more time is needed on a particular concept/topic. In addition to the tech tools, I also provided a few resources on question/sentence frames for levels of questioning.
