WHAT'S NEW
SkillsUSA A/V Students Film at the Catoosa County Sheriff's Office
This week some advanced Audio/Video students shot a series of training videos that will be used in the hiring process of new Catoosa County deputies. Students got to practice the logistics of multi-camera shoot, working and communicating as a team (where everyoneβs role is crucial), setting up in a space without seeing it beforehand, making changes on the fly, and working efficiently as to not waste anyoneβs time.
Thank you to everyone at the Catoosa County Sheriff's Office for the opportunity for RHS students to serve the community with a camera in their hands. We are honored to support the training of deputies that will keep our community safe.
Presentation from the Navy
Thank you to representatives from the U.S. Navy who came to campus today! They stayed for all four blocks with a presentation, showing our Tigers about nuclear engineering, recruiting, and all the different jobs available in the Navy.
Weekend Review
Multiple events happened over the weekend on campus
Curtains Close on Anything Goes!
RHSPA has wrapped up production of Anything Goes! This show was much different than Hadestown. Anything Goes was a high-energy production, packed with dazzling tap numbers and stunning vocals from our favorite cast and crew.
Plant Sale
Agriculture held their annual Spring Plant Sale this weekend! Dr. Hunter says the event was a success and wants to thank everyone for coming out. Many people took advantage of the plant sales and hand-crafted planters for sale by construction students. If you missed it, don't worry! There is still more for sale in the Greenhouse. Dr. Hunter wants to remind you that they have plenty of mixed planters, which were very popular last year. They also have mosquito repellant mixed planters in 1 and 3 gallon pots! Thank you for supporting your tigers!
