I hope everyone is enjoying the summer break and is finding some to relax and rejuvenate after such a unique year. Mr. Bugajski and I are busy planning for the return of staff and students and are excited about the upcoming school year!
Transportation Update
I am reaching out today with some important information regarding bus transportation. We have been informed by the DPS Transportation that bus requests need to be in our system before July 5th if you want to have a bus route for your child for the start of the school year. Requests put in after July fifth will take at least ten school days to get processed. You only need to fill out this form if your child was NOT previously a bus rider or if you have moved and the address on file is no longer up to date. Please note the following:
- Students who had bus assignment in the spring will be automatically renewed.
- Students who participated in remote learning, but were bus riders during the previous school year, will also be automatically renewed.
- Bus routes will be posted at the Open House on July 15th and will be sent out in the Sunday update.
ACTION NEEDED - Parent Portal Enrollment Updates
Beginning July 2nd, parents can log into the parent portal and complete the returning student enrollment for the coming year. This is where you will update address, phone number, and emergency contact and complete the lunch form. All returning families need to login in and complete this process. Again, it will be available beginning July 2nd and you have until school starts to complete it.
Easley Open House
Our Open House will be held on Thursday, July 15th. Come out and meet your teacher and see the classroom. You may stop by anytime within the assigned window.
- Kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th are from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.
- 1st, 3rd, and 5th are from 5:00-6:00 pm.
Kindergarten Parent Orientation
Kindergarten Parent Orientation will be held on Wednesday, July 14th at 6:00 PM. Please note this is a parent only event. The kindergarten teachers will meet with parents and share important information as well as answer any questions.
New to Easley Parent Orientation for 1st -5th Grade
We invite you to meet with Principal Hauser and Assistant Principal Bugajski on Thursday, July 22 at 6:00 PM in the school media center to learn about all things Easley. Get to know your principals and hear about communication, school events and how you can get involved.
