**For New to School In Person Students ONLY** CUSD Parent/Guardian Health and Safety Agreement for In-Person Instruction
CUSD Parent/Guardian Health and Safety Agreement for In-Person Instruction
MOST IMPORTANT: Safety Agreement MUST be handed in, in person, on the first day that your student returns on February 1st. If you already filled this out in October, you will NOT need to fill this out again.
We will be collecting signed forms at the gates. We will have additional copies onhand. To avoid congregation, we advise printing and signing BEFORE you arrive at school. If home printer is not avaiaible, we will have additional copies in front of school.
Inorder for your student to be allowed in school on the 1st day back, they MUST have this form filled out by an adult in the home and handed in at the gates. This form will only need to be filled out ONCE, and is your committment to check daily for symptoms before heading to school.
Link to Form: CUSD Parent/Guardian Health and Safety Agreement for In-Person Instruction.
Once your student arrives at school, the school will do visual wellness checks when students walk through the gate, and teachers will continue to monitor for symptoms throughout the day. Details below for information on our "decision tree" below.
No Place for Hate
Look at these fabulous posters being made by our students! Look for these new posters around campus when we return February 1st.
If you are around campus, bring a marker and sign your name to our 'No Place for Hate' pledge. Sign neatly and proudly so that everyone will know that you, too, have taken the pledge! Here at Village, there is "No Place for Hate!"

Here is a good video to play to further explain what the pledge is about. Village students who are on the committee will be making their own videos to share.

This video also shows a good example of what it looks like to be committed to being kind to everyone and showing that we are committing to be a school that has no place for hate.

Village Superheroes- Show your Kindness!
Village Artists are on Display at the Coronado Historical Association
Thank you for your participation in the Coronado Historical Association's COVID-19 collection project in the spring of 2020. Your contributions helped develop an archive of the early pandemic shutdowns that will help researchers in the future understand this time of uncertainty in our community.
It has been a long wait, but with a new year, we have good news! Thanks to funding from the California State Library and community grant funds from the City of Coronado, we were able to transform the Coronado Responds: Student Artwork of the Pandemic exhibit into an online format. We encourage you to share widely with friends and family.
That website is now live for you to view here: coronadohistoryexhibit.org.
Additionally, although we remain closed to the public, we are inviting you and your family to enjoy a private viewing of the exhibit in-person. Starting on January 19, CHA will be offering 30-minute time slots for single households to come view the exhibit. To schedule a timeslot, please click here: https://calendly.com/vstone-1/30min. Those who register will receive a confirmation email with detailed information about your visit.
If you have any questions about the online exhibit or the in-person visit, you can reach me at vstone@coronadohistory.org or by calling 619-435-7242.
Thank you again for your contributions to this wonderful project!

CSF News
HOW DO I GET THE CORONADO LOCALS APP?
Visit CORONADOLOCALSCARD.ORG. Donate $100+ to CSF or sign up to be a recurring donor. Email csf@csfkids.org with questions.
YOU'VE BEEN STUNG!
As part of CSF’s Hive 365 campaign, bees will descend upon home fronts of different Coronado households. (You may have seen some around town already!) After making a donation to CSF, the family will decide who will be “stung” next, placing the bees and the hive in the new family’s yard, encouraging them to make a donation and continuing the lifecycle of fun.
The suggested donation per household is $365, however, donations of any amount are appreciated! All donations go to fund pathways in STEM and Arts at all 4 CUSD schools.
GET STUNG
If you would like to be the next Coronado family to "Get Stung", email csf@csfkids.org. If you are already a member of Hive 365 or are a CSF monthly recurring donor, we would love for you to participate with or without an additional donation. Just let us know!
