Omaha North High Magnet Mission Statement
The mission of Omaha North High Magnet School is to prepare all students for success in lifelong studies and careers.
Message from Dr. Nero, Principal
Greetings Viking Families,
We have 9 instructional days left in the 2021-22 School Year. Seniors last day of school was Friday, May 13th. Although we had a challenging start to the school year, we recovered well and are finishing strong! Please encourage students to hang in there until the end. There is still time to get work done, raise grades and earn credits.
Please speak with your students about behavior expectations for the end of the school year. We do not want students to make impulsive decisions that have a lasting impact on their educational journey. Safety continues to be our top priority and we need everyone to be their best selves and make a positive contribution to our school community. Now more than ever it is important to Be a Viking—Be Respectful, Responsible and Accountable!
Review the rest of the newsletter for the link to watch the Graduation Live Stream (May 26th at 2pm), celebrate student accomplishments, find information on summer activities and other important reminders.
It is an honor to serve as the principal of Omaha North High. I am so grateful to serve this community. I am proud of our graduating class and excited to continue our work with new and returning students next year! Although, there are 9 great options for high school, we believe North High is the #Place2Be!
As always we thank you for your continued support and involvement in the Viking Community. If you have any questions, please call us 531-299-2700.
Go Vikings!
Viking Families, we want to hear your voice!
