Governor Closing Schools For Year
Illinois schools closed through the end of the School Year
Dear District 41 Community,
During Governor Pritzker’s news conference today, he announced that all Illinois schools will remain closed through the end of the 2019-20 School Year. While it is very sad that we will not be able to end the year together in our school buildings, we need to continue to take the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and health departments very seriously.
Remote Learning will continue and the last day of school will remain June 4. Please expect continued communication in the coming weeks about a virtual Hadley graduation for our 8th graders and other possible virtual events as we approach the end of the school year. We have already begun planning the logistics for the end of the school year and we will continue sending frequent updates with information and resources via email, the website and our social media channels. Once decisions are made about the summer months, we will let you know if summer camps and activities will be impacted.
We are grateful for your patience and understanding as we continue to work through this difficult situation one step at a time. Thank you for staying #D41Strong with us.
