October 15th - Pre-race activities at 9. Race at 10

Dear MUMS Families,

We can't wait to see you at the MUMS Fun Run this Saturday 10/15! ALL MUMS students and families are invited. The event is completely FREE, no pre-registration needed. You don't even have to run: You can walk, skip, or dance your way around the (now shorter!) 1.3/mi course. Or just come to cheer classmates on - there will be games and refreshments for all.

We are so close! We have raised over 75% toward our goal of $8000! Donate now to help us reach our goal before Saturday! Here are all of the details you need:

Fun Run Details!

Date: Saturday, October 15th at 10 a.m - please arrive at 9:00am to get ready (rain date 10/16)!
Everyone is invited! The Fun Run is a 1.39 mile course around Middlebury with four stations for splashing color as you run by. After the Fun Run there will be a celebration with refreshments, photo ops and certificates. Here is our MUMS FUN RUN webpage. This Fun Run is intended to promote wellness, MUMS/TA/grade level connections, raise money to support our school, and have fun together!

Donate! Our goal is to raise $8,000 for MUMS, and highlight our community spirit! We're over 75% there!

Online: Click here to Donate to TA Teacher.
Cash or check: Fill out the Fun Run Pledge Form and bring the form and donations to a TA teacher.
Students can obtain donations from family and friends to support their participation, which can be entered online or on a pledge sheet.

MUMS School Spirit! The Run Run is the culmination of several school spirit activities:

A Spirit Assembly (Friday 9/23). Congratulations to the 8th grade who won the relay, and to 6th grade for second place, and 7th grade for third place. Thanks to everyone for their community spirit!
Three Spirit Days-9/30, 10/7 and 10/13

Students will identify and vote on Spirit Day themes

Three opportunities for Grade Level Pizza -whoever has raised the most money each week will have a pizza party.
Raffle tickets for students who participate in Spirit days, raise money for the event, and demonstrate the MUMS Way. There are awesome prizes!
