There are many opportunities to volunteer here at our school while having fun and spending some time with your children at school. Please contact the Barbieri PTO directly and/or your child's classroom teacher with any questions!

Hello Barbieri Families,

I hope we are doing wonderfully during our last few weeks of school! I’m definitely looking forward to some fun in the sun this summer. As we get into the final days of the school year, we would like to get our lost and found sorted out proactively. For those of you who have entered our school recently, they have seen the amount of lost and found we have accrued over the school year. I would like to invite you to please come and look for any lost winter jackets, sweaters, and many more articles of clothing from our lost and found. If these items are not claimed by June 21, they will be donated to families in need. I will send out another reminder in early June.

Community events to be excited for:

• FPS Pride Day on Tuesday, June 13th

• Juneteenth 6/19 at Framingham Farm Pond from 1 to 6 pm. Entrance is free, and there will be food, music, games, a raffle, and face painting! Bring your own chair/blanket :)
  

I also wanted to send out my Barbieri Wraparound referral form for those needing Wraparound services. Wraparound services include holistically supporting our district's families while connecting them to community resources. Hola familias Barbieri,

¡Espero que nos esté yendo maravillosamente durante nuestras últimas semanas de clases! Definitivamente estoy deseando divertirme bajo el sol este verano. A medida que nos acercamos a los últimos días del año escolar, nos gustaría ser proactivos para resolver lo perdido y encontrado. Para aquellos de ustedes que han ingresado a nuestra escuela recientemente, definitivamente han visto la cantidad de objetos perdidos y encontrados que hemos acumulado durante el año escolar. Me gustaría invitarlo a que venga y busque chaquetas de invierno, suéteres y muchas más prendas de vestir perdidas de nuestros objetos perdidos. Si estos artículos no se reclaman antes del 21 de junio, serán donados a familias necesitadas. Enviaré otro recordatorio a principios de junio.

Eventos comunitarios por los que estar emocionado:

• Día del orgullo FPS el 13 de junio

• Juneteenth 6/19 en Framingham Farm Pond de 1 a 6 pm. ¡La entrada es gratuita y habrá comida, música, juegos, una rifa y pintura de caras! Traiga su propia silla/manta :)

También quería enviar una vez más mi formulario de referencia de Barbieri Wraparound para aquellos que necesitan servicios de Wraparound. Los servicios integrales incluyen apoyar a las familias de nuestro distrito de manera integral mientras las conectan con los recursos de la comunidad. Move-Up day will be hosted by grade level teams in the auditorium. Move-Up day will be on Wednesday, June 14th!. ALL grade level team teachers will meet with whole grade level classes to introduce themselves and get students excited about the upcoming school year!

After the Grade 5 Promotion Ceremony the entire Grade 5 class and staff enjoys a fun filled day supported by Barbieri PTO and Grade 5 Families. We need help setting up, supervising the events of the day, as well as cleaning up. Please sign up here to help!

If you'd like to participate and show appreciation feel free to spend some time allowing students to make cards in school too!
