Hubbard Woods Update
January 29, 2024
Principal Update
Dear Hubbard Woods Parents,
I continue to be amazed by the support of our Hubbard Woods community. Thank you, for the many kind sentiments that came with my news of my transitioning to a new district for the next school year. I greatly appreciate your generosity of kindness. I will always value my time here and am thankful to live nearby so I can hopefully see you out and about in the community for years to come. The next principal will be incredibly fortunate to have this community to work and learn with.
We will begin sorting all of your donations today. Thank you for your participation in this project!
In partnership and gratitude,
Beth Carmody

End-of-School Date Change
Note that the last day of our school year will now fall on Friday, June 14, 2024. This is due to the emergency day taken when we experienced a winter storm last week.
Single-Subject and Grade Level Acceleration
The Accelerated Placement Act requires Illinois public school districts to adopt and implement policies on acceleration that provide opportunities for single subject and grade level acceleration. Note that the acceleration request form will be open February 26-March 22. If you have questions about the policy, please contact the Asst Supt of Innovation, Teaching and Learning, Dr. Becky Mathison, at beckymathison@winnetka36.org.
