Grandparents’ Day
Tuesday, November 22, 2016
Every three years, Oakview hosts one of our most special events, Grandparents Day! We look forward to having grandparents from around the world visit the school! Here are a few details about the big event.
SCHEDULE
Kindergarten and 1st Grades 8:30 – 10:00
4th and 5th Grades 10:30 – 12:00
2nd and 3rd Grades 12:30 – 2:00
Grandparents will arrive on campus and receive a detailed agenda for the day. They should arrive at least 5 – 10 minutes early in order to sign-in and to get a name tag. Students and grandparents will enjoy a cookie and lemonade reception, classroom visit, school tour, and visit to the media center ($10 optional book donation available in honor of their grandchild). If your child’s grandparents can attend, please complete and return a registration form by Wednesday, November 16 (one form for each child). If your child has permission to leave campus (early dismissal) with a grandparent(s), please check the appropriate line on the registration form. Children will not be dismissed with a grandparent unless you complete this form.
