MISSION: IGNITING A PASSION FOR LEARNING
Mission: The mission of Kewaskum Elementary School is to develop the whole child by providing a motivating, stimulating, and nurturing environment to build a better future together.
Vision: The vision of the Kewaskum Elementary School is to guide our students to be respectful, compassionate, and responsible individuals who recognize and value their educational journey.
Principal Message
Our Open House is on August 30, 2022, from 4-6 pm. This is a great time to help students have a successful transition to the new year. During this time, your child can meet their teachers, tour the building, and unpack their supplies. We ask that in order to help with the transition the first day that parents/family members say goodbye to their child at the door.

Get to Know Mrs. Hyde
I am excited to start my second year as building principal here at KES. Prior to that, I was an Associate Principal for 3 years and a Special Education Teacher at the Elementary level for 12 years. I truly believe that our job is to teach the whole child and that almost every moment can be a learning opportunity.
I live in West Bend with my husband, three daughters, 1 large Alaskan Malamute, and 2 cats. We spend a lot of time in the summer boating and enjoying being with friends and family.

Students who do not ride the bus should be dropped off on Third Street. EC, 4K, and 5K students should enter through door 9. 1 st through 5 th grade students should enter through door 8. Students should not arrive before 8:45 a.m. Any students arriving after 8:55 a.m. will need to enter the school by door 1 and check in at the office.

- Buses will unload and load on Bilgo Lane. Students may alter their regular bus stop by bringing a completed "Bus Slip" form or a written note identifying a bus stop change for the evening from a parent or guardian. All bus stop slips/notes are to be taken to the office in the morning for authorization. Authorized slips/notes will be returned to the students before they board the buses; slips/notes must be given to the bus drivers. Bus drivers will not allow students to ride altered buses/routes without the authorized slips/ notes and this will be reinforced by the school. This is a safety issue for the protection of students. If you do not want your child to ride home on the bus. Long-term changes need to be addressed through Johnson Bus at 262-626-4414.
- For the safety of all students and the busses, if you are parking on a different road, please use the crosswalk/crossing guard at Bilgo and Third Street.
