Principal's Update
Dear CCIC families,
The struggles in today’s world are seemingly pervasive and overwhelming at times and for many, we are in such times. Our focus here at the CCIC remains committed to the success, safety and community of our students and their families. As we approach this Fall Break, if you or your student are in need of support, please remember that the district provides numerous supports, in school and out, as a resource for well-being. Here are some helpful links found on the district’s “Mental Health” resources webpage. Additionally, the National Association of School Psychologists’ guide for parents and caregivers is available online and is a valuable resource for providing support in difficult circumstances.
And, of course, when we return to classes after break, we have tremendous support staff at the CCIC with expertise in mental health, counseling, and student services. Additionally, I truly cannot think of a more talented group of teachers, specialists, and support staff than you will find at the CCIC. We are honored to support you, your students, and our community.
Be well.
Steve Day
