Dear Bobcat Families,

The PSAT will be given to 8th grade students on October 30. This is a minimum day for all students. School will be dismissed at 12:40pm on October 30th.

This Tuesday is Halloween. Students are welcome to wear their costumes to school. Costumes must follow dress code. No masks or fake weapons are allowed. Please see the flyer below for more details.

The Scholastic Fall Book Fair starts on November 1st. Please click the link below for more details and for parent volunteer opportunities. The book fair will be open from November 1st - 8th in the school library. It will be open before school, during lunch, during snack and after school.

The BJH Coin drive is taking place this week. Students and staff are encouraged to bring coins this week. Collection bins will be in each homeroom class. The money donated will help BJH families in need this holiday season.

The month of November is Native American Heritage Month. All month our ASB students will highlight different Native Americans on the bulletin board on University Drive. In addition, Native Americans will be highlighted during morning announcements and on Google Drive. Join us as we celebrate the rich heritage and contributions of Native Americans.

In other news, parents of cheer students received an email last week inviting you to an informational Zoom meeting this Thursday at 3:30 p.m. As you know, BJH Administration recently learned of Coach Taylor's pending relocation which left a walk on cheer coach vacancy. This meeting was scheduled to provide accurate information to parents and cheer students from BJH administration regarding next steps in the process to ensure that the cheer program continues. We hope you can make it to this meeting so that you can receive first hand information regarding this transition.
