No school on Wednesday, November 22nd through Friday, November 24th for Thanksgiving Recess. School will resume on Monday, November 27th.

DeSales will be hosting our first ever Turkey Trot! This school wide

“fun run” will take place during the school day on Monday, November 20th. Students will race in the neighborhood surrounding the school, local police and fire patrol will assist in keeping the race safe for our students.

Students may wear their gym uniforms and are encouraged to bring a water bottle to school. A healthy post-race snack will be provided.

Food Donations: We will be collecting food donations as part of this day of fun day. Students may bring in a non perishable food item anytime leading up to the Turkey Trot. All food donations will help benefit St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry.

This morning we welcomed law enforcement, fire fighters and first responders to DeSales for our 7th annual Lockport Blue. We welcomed our most esteemed guests with coffee and donuts in our cafeteria and then moved up to the gym for a Lockport Blue vs. 8th graders basketball game.

Father Andrew Lauricella said a prayer for our guests before the game. It was a close game but in the last few minutes, our 8th graders pulled ahead to win.

We are most grateful for the men and women who keep our children and community safe, thank you for a special morning!

The DeSales Election Day ballots have been counted and the winner was Favorite T-Shirt Day!

The students voted on this fun dress out of uniform day which will be held on Friday, December 1st.

Anyone wishing to provide a faded, soiled or damaged flag to be disposed of with honor and respect, may drop it off at DeSales in the provided boxes by the Main office.

Following the Flag Ceremony the Cub Scouts will be collecting non-perishable food items to benefit Sister Helen's Food Pantry in DeSales parking lot Saturday, November 18th from 11:00am-1:00pm.
