Kennedy School is raising money to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! We are challenging the Kennedy students to see if they can reach the goal of $7,000!

On March 6th: Staff will be outside collecting change during morning arrival in the car lane!

On March 13th: Students can bring in $1.00 for a piece of DUCT TAPE or $5.00 for 6 pieces of DUCT TAPE to tape our Principal & Assistant Principals to the wall!

March 16th: The classroom that raises the most money will celebrate with a shamrock shake party!

Our Spring book fair will be here soon! Students will browse the books on March 12th and 13th. Students will be able to buy books on March 14th and 15th.

There has been an increased number of tardy students at Kennedy School. Morning routines are always more difficult when it is cold outside. Morning supervision outdoors (on the drop-off lane) begins at 7:40am. School starts at 7:55am. Any child arriving after 8am must enter through the main doors. Please make a conscious effort to get your child to school on time.

Please note that the district is actively monitoring your child's attendance at school. We are required by the state to file truancy for students who are absent 5% or more of the school year (9 unexcused absences).

Instructional time is precious and we expect parents to ensure that students arrive on time and ready to learn. Modeling prompt arrival to school is important in preparing students for success.

Please be diligent to keep your child's information current with our school office. If you have new telephone numbers, new email, or new emergency contact information, please make sure to let our office staff know. Thank you!

Please join us for Dr. Seuss Night on Wednesday, March 7th from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

Come celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss! Guest readers will share their favorite books in English, Spanish, Polish & Bulgarian. Come sing Happy Birthday to Dr. Seuss & enjoy free cake with The Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 & Thing 2!

March 20th: NO SCHOOL for STUDENTS (Teacher Institute Day)

March 21st: Board of Education Meeting @ 7:00pm (LMS)

March 26th - Spring Break Begins!
