Plan On a Page

Our building leadership team met over the summer, and continues to meet throughout the year to study our building data, review feedback from staff, students, and parents, and then make decisions about strategic actions that our building will take to continually improve. Below is our Plan on a Page for the 2021-2022 school year.

Over the past few weeks we have met in grade level teams to study our classroom and student reading and math data. Instructional decisions were made to help extend and intervene to support all of our students. You should have received communication from your classroom teacher on how your child is progressing.

Uplifting Urbandale

Mary Clark: We are honored to recognize Mary Clark, a dedicated level three teacher at Urbandale High School. Mary was one of our remote special education teachers during the 2020-21 school year. While working in a new, remote setting, Mary took on the many challenges that came up over the past year with a creative problem solving style that engaged all learners and staff.
