1/19 - New AM/PM schedule begins

New AM/PM Schedule on January 19th

As you are aware, we will be moving to a new educational model starting January 19th, 2021. All TK-6th grade students will now be on the AM/PM schedule. There were many factors involved when creating class lists to ensure transportation (bussing), program needs, and class sizes were met. I recognize that this schedule change may create some difficulties for you and I completely sympathize with that. Please know though that there is very little wiggle room to make changes based on the factors above. If there is a high priority need, please complete this Schedule Change Request Form. We will do what we can to accommodate your request, however we are unable to guarantee a change. Please do not email your request to the office; requests for change will only be reviewed if they are added to the form.


At 5pm tonight, you can log into Aeries Parent Portal to see what schedule your child(ren) will be on. Please see the "Key" below to help. Click HERE for help locating your child's cohort in the Parent Portal.

Our school schedule for TK will remain the same. Below is the bell schedule for grades K-6:


Monday:


AM: 8:25- 10:40

PM: 11:40-1:55


Tuesday- Friday:


AM: 8:25-11:10

PM: 12:10-2:55

Gratitude Activities for the Winter Break

Common Sense Media is a great resource for teacher and parenting support in a digital age. I have previously included some ideas for parents to keep kids safe with all of the tech so readily available to their children. This time, I want to share some activities for celebrating gratitude. Right now it may seem difficult to be grateful for things when so many seemingly negative things are happening all around us. There is a great deal of research on how finding gratitude is great for our outlook and mental health. Here is a link to some ideas you and your children can do together.

Nutrition Services will not be available for families during RUSD's winter break. Last day of service will be Friday 12/18/20, service resumes on Tuesday 1/5/21.

Panthers Helping Panthers Food Drive

Final Count: 1,921!!!!!


Mr. Rumbaugh's class won the 3-6th grade prize for bringing in 659 items and Ms. Carreras class for bringing in 159 items for our TK-2nd winners!
