Gold Card Series Events and Classes are provided by the joint efforts of Community Education and the Sioux Falls School Schools. You will have the opportunity to see talent from elementary, middle and high school students while also learning something new! The Series Events is held at a variety of school buildings and may include a class or a meal. Minimal fees may be required for Gold Card Events.

Join the South Dakota Symphony and the Sioux Falls School District Fine Arts Program in welcoming John Beyrle, former US ambassador to Russia, Joseph Horowitz, cultural historian, and Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, concert pianist. Bavouzet will play Ravel and share the relationship between Ravel and jazz, the exchange between American music and French music. Beyrle will talk about how music is an instrument for cultural exchange and his experience as a diplomat. This is part of a partnership arrangement with the SF School District and the SD Symphony Orchestra.

The event will take place as a presentation to LHS high school students in the Lincoln High School Auditorium on February 27, 9:10pm-10:30pm. The SD Symphony has extended an invitation to Gold Card Members. There is no fee to attend, but RSVP is required by registering here:
