• Invitations to Gold Card Series Events and Classes

Gold Card Series Events and Classes are provided by the joint efforts of Community Education and the Sioux Falls School Schools. You will have the opportunity to see talent from elementary, middle and high school students while also learning something new! The Series Events is held at a variety of school buildings and may include a class or a meal. Minimal fees may be required for Gold Card Events.

Spring has sprung and it’s time to play in the garden! Join Community Relations and Eugene Field A+ elementary school for an interactive event.

Garden Time: We will meet students at Iron Fox Farms, just 2 blocks from EFA+, to learn how they collaborate with Eugene Field to enhance students multiple intelligence learning and ‘Nature Smart’ selves.

The + in A+ : Then, we will head to nearby Eugene Field A+ and participate in an Integrated Art lesson with students. Multiple Intelligence Learning is something special EFA+ is known for along with its integration of art and science, music and math, and other combinations to enhance students’ learning methods – all with an understanding of individuals’ uniquely different and necessary types of ‘smart’ in our world.

(y)Our Community: After the integrative art+ lesson, we will meet in the library for a snack and to discuss the school’s features and other Sioux Falls School District topics you may have questions about.

Iron Fox Farms is 2 blocks away from Eugene Field.

If you wish to walk, you can park at Eugene Field or side streets around 8:45 and stroll to the gardens and back. Let us know so we can walk together.

Otherwise please drive to the garden first, then drive to Eugene Field.
