AHLI-5th and 6th Graders ONLY
The AHLI program is a three-year program provided to middle school students dealing with leadership and character development through the exploration of math and science. The institute is a collaborative effort between the Lake County Y, Holden Arboretum, Lake Metroparks, Lake County Soil and Water Land Conservancy, First Energy, and Lakeland Community College.
The Arthur Holden Leadership Institute program is designed to develop lifelong learners who will illustrate achievement in science and math and are compassionate for our environment as well as others. Along with academic success, the social and motivational aspects should have an immediate effect as students become aware of the positive impact they can have on our 21st century, with each other, their teachers, and their environment.
If this is something you think your 5th/6th grade student(s) would be interested in, please review the application process below. If you have any questions, please contact me. The applications are also posted in the 5th and 6th grade level Google Classrooms. APPLICATIONS ARE DUE SEPTEMBER 15.
