Phase 3 Flow Chart
Please see the flow chart to assist you with a quick guide with regard to reporting positive cases at IPS
Isolation period reduced as of 1159pm Friday 12 March
We will continue to update whanau on numbers across the school as and if they rise.
If there is a positive case in a class, we will notify the caregivers once from that class.
As of writing this newsletter we do NOT have any Teaching Staff who have tested positive, however as you will appreciate this may change. Where possible we will ensure our Guest Teacher covering the class, if that happens, is known to the children. With the reduced isolation period from Friday night, this will also assist staff to come back if they are feeling well enough to.
The Board of Trustees and Staff wish to extend our deepest gratitude for the graciousness of you all during this time.
School Enrolment Zone Applications for Term 2 2022
Enrolment at Inglewood School is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available on the school website or from the school office.
All applications must be received by 3pm 28 March 2022 for Term 2 2022. If a ballot for out of zone places is required, it will be held on 30 March 2022. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three school days of the ballot being held.
The board is now inviting applications from parents who wish to enrol their children at Inglewood Primary School starting within Term 2 2022.
The board has determined that 20 places from Year 1-8 are likely to be available for out-of-zone students within Term 2 2022. The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone.
The application form for enrolment is available from the school website, or from the school office.
Please note, that if the number of out-of-zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three school days of the ballot being held.

New Student Management System Edge Mobile App
This week we have started using a new Student Management System called 'Edge'. The Edge App has some amazing functions. Some of these functions will not be available until 2022 and we will keep you posted when these can be accessed. In the meantime, please download the app (as per the picture below) and begin by sending all student absences through the app. Please also delete the "School App" as we will no longer be using this. Any queries, please pop in to the school office or email office@inglewood.school.nz.
