Congratulations to Mrs. Mazandarani and Dr. Harrison! They received a “Standing O” from the TUSD Cabinet for their work leading Legacy through the Hangar Fire incident.
Legacy is grateful for the ongoing support from TUSD, through this incident and always.
LMA Academic Decathlon
Our High School Academic Decathlon Team put their hours of practice to work as they competed in the Super Quiz and subject area tests! Stay tuned, awards are coming this evening!
HS Comedy Sportz
Game Con 2: Skills Workshop: The Legacy Comedy Sportz HS League participated in 3 skill workshops focused on creating characters, story telling, and supporting peers in scenes.
Legacy Productions
Congratulations to our Legacy Productions students who competed at the Junior Thespian Festival! Dominique DePrima won the top honor of a Superior Award and the Judges’ Choice for Acting and was showcased on the main stage. Elise Edwards received the Superior Award and Judges’ Choice Award for Theatre Marketing and Publicity and was showcased on the main stage. Maddie Parks received the Superior Award for Musical Theatre Solo Performance. All our Legacy students received great feedback from the judges!
HS Robotics
Congratulations to our High School robotics teams! We now have four of our five teams qualified for the VEX State Championships! On Saturday, Team 393A and 393C won Tournament Champions, 393C won the Excellence Award, 393B won the Design Award, and 393D won the Innovate Award. Team 393E qualified for the State Championship two weeks ago after winning Tournament Champions. Also, congratulations to Alyssa Aranda, the Legacy Robotics Senior of the Year! We are so proud of your hard work!

Dear parents and guardians,
On Thursday, February 15th, the 7th grade class will be hosting a Mesoamerican street fair to demonstrate their learning from our current social studies unit. Students have been placed in teams and have chosen to share a tool, meal, or experience from the Maya, Aztec, or Inca civilizations. We invite you to join us in the upper middle school commons during your child's assigned period. Please see the schedule below.

National School Counseling Week
This week we celebrated our spectacular counselors Ms. Tsang and Ms. Le! We hung up a poster with heart-shaped notes, gave them their treat boxes, and made fun videos in their honor. Make sure if you see them around to thank them for all the hard work they do!
Middle School’s Valentines Dance
We had a spectacular Middle School Valentine’ Day dance! Students enjoyed dancing, eating yummy food, and playing games. They especially enjoyed our pie-a-teacher fundraiser!
College Wear Wednesday
TIDE Talk
On Wednesday we had a wonderful TIDE Talk from Dean Ian Williamson of the UCI School of Business. He talked about his spectacular journey to becoming a Dean. We also had a fun college scavenger hunt activity to follow up! We loved hearing his inspirational talk and are so thankful that he took the time to speak to us!

Let’s give a second chance to cupid this year! On Valentine's Day we have a red, white, and/or pink spirit day. Make sure you wear your best cupid colors! Valentines grams will be delivered today!
RISE Pizza Party
At the past RISE Pop-Up Shops, we have been selling tickets to the first ever RISE Pizza Party! If you bought tickets, the party is on February 16th during lunch, so make sure to bring your ticket. We can’t wait to see all of our awesome students there!
