Student of the Quarter
Please join us in congratulating Alexis Whitehead, who was chosen as Loyalsock's second Student of the Quarter for the 2022-23 school year.
The Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce oversees the “Student of the Quarter” program for all of the local districts. The “Student of the Quarter” program is designed to honor students from the local schools for their academic excellence, character, and positive impact on our school district.
As a reminder - Alexis is the second of the three seniors that the LTHS scholarship committee will have the honor of choosing as a "Student of the Quarter" for the 2022-23 school year. Cy Cavanaugh was also named a Student of the Quarter earlier this year. Emma Strickland was chosen as our "Student of the Year" and will be recognized at the Education Celebration on March 2.
Please be sure to congratulate Alexis on this honor when you see her!

SAT Information
The registration deadlines are a month in advance (April 7 for the May SAT, May 4 for the June SAT). With that said, due to the volume of local students who will likely register for one of these exams, it is possible that registration for these testing dates will close prior to their scheduled deadlines. It is highly encouraged that if you plan to take the SAT, you sign up well in advance.
Scholarship Information for Seniors
Seniors should monitor the LTHS scholarship page and apply for any opportunities that they are eligible for on this list. More scholarship opportunities will continue to be added throughout the school year. You can click here to find the full list.

LTHS Presents: Sister Act! March 17-19, 2023
Sister Act is the feel-good musical comedy smash based on the hit 1992 film that has audiences jumping to their feet! Featuring original music by Tony- and eight-time Oscar winner, Alan Menken (Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors), this uplifting musical was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
When disco diva, Deloris Van Cartier, witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won't be a found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but, in doing so, blows her cover. Soon, the gang is giving chase, only to find them up against Deloris and the power of her newly found sisterhood.
