From the Desk of the Superintendent
NCSD Families,
I hope all of you are enjoying the beginning of your summer. We had quite flurry of activities to end our school year from multiple graduation ceremonies to sports. I hope you enjoy the following pictures and articles.
Last month, I shared with you the Summer Reading schedule for August. Due to scheduling conflicts, we had to change a couple of the dates. Here is the revised list:
- August 17, at 9:30 AM - Orchard Hills - Novi Rotary Park
- August 21 at 10:00 AM - Novi Woods - Novi Public Library
- August 22, at 9:30 AM - Village Oaks - Novi Brookfarm Park
- August 23, at 9:30 AM - Parkview - Novi Lakeshore Park
- August 24, at 9:30 AM - Deerfield - Novi Wildlife Park
Don't forget about our kindergarten enrollment, which continues for the district. We rely these enrollment numbers for building appropriate staffing levels that are based on the number of children we have attending. If you will have a kindergarten student next year or if you know someone in Novi who will have a student starting next year, please have them contact our Enrollment Office at: enrollment@novik12.org
Go Wildcats!

Novi Career Prep High School Graduation
A combined 27 students completed in Career Prep High School, Adult Education, and GED programs were celebrated by family, friends, staff, administrators, and the Board of Education during a ceremony at Novi Middle School on June 15, 2023.
“I am so very proud of all of our students, both young and those in the adult high school program. It gives me such great joy to know that we in Novi focus on every student from K-12 and beyond. If it weren't for programs like ours, many of our students over 22 would never have a chance to finish high school. Each one of them is special and unique.”said Linda Cianferra, NCSD’s Director of Alternative and Adult Education.
Novi Adult Transition Center Graduation
Matt Heslop graduated from the Novi Adult Transition Center in a ceremony attended by family, friends, teachers, administrators and the Board of Education at the ROAR Center on June 8, 2023.
