• We will have Parent-Teacher Conferences on February 17th and 18th. The conference sign-ups will go live through Sign-up Genius on Thursday, February 3rd at 7:00 p.m. The ability to sign up will close on Thursday, February 10th at 10:00 a.m. More detailed information will be shared in a separate email to families.

It is time to select a World Language for middle school. Please register online through PowerSchool as soon as possible. An email with registration information was sent on January 21st. Please contact Shab Poloz if you have any questions: spoloz@sd25.org or 847-758-4899.

This year Erin’s Law presentations will take place during the end of January and early February. Click HERE for information about Erin's Law and the topics covered at each grade level.

Mr. P. and Miss Amick, the Westgate social workers, will be presenting in classrooms. Presentations will be one time for about 30 minutes. Classroom teachers and the social workers collaborated to determine the best times for these to occur. Classroom teachers will share the schedule for their class with you.

If you would like to opt your child out of the Erin's Law presentation please complete and submit the form below to your child's teacher and Mrs. Buch as soon as possible.

Parents, students, and teachers across Illinois will have an opportunity to participate in the tenth annual statewide Illinois 5Essentials Survey. This survey is designed to generate a detailed picture of the inner workings of Westgate School. As a parent, this opportunity will allow you to share your thoughts on the important elements of school effectiveness. Your participation in the parent portion of the survey will help us understand the conditions at Westgate School and guide improvement. Your identity and survey responses will be kept completely confidential and will never be connected to you or your child.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey linked below. The survey window will close on March 11, 2022. If at least 20 percent of Westgate parents complete this survey, a parent supplement report will be generated.
