If your child will be five by September 1, 2024 then he/she can be registered for kindergarten. In order to register your child, you must have the following items:

• Completed enrollment form
• Original birth certificate
• Proof of residency-two current utility bills with the stated name and address or signed closing papers or signed lease agreement
• Current immunization records
• Vision and hearing screening forms

We encourage parents who have a child entering Kindergarten to schedule your immunizations or waiver education appointments now for the 2024-25 school year. The Macomb County Health Department (MCHD) School Immunization Program has limited staffing due to Covid-19 testing and vaccination implementation at the MCHD. Immunizations can be done by your child’s physician or the MCHD. The MCHD is not performing Vision and Hearing Screenings at this time, you can ask your physician if they can perform Vision and Hearing Screenings in their office or refer you to an optometrist or ophthalmologist office.
