Useful PSAT Information
MANDATORY DIGITAL CHECK-IN before the test
The PSAT will be taken online this year.
STUDENTS CAN ONLY USE THE SCHOOL-PROVIDED CHROMEBOOK TO TEST
Students must attend the mandatory DIGITAL CHECK-IN at lunch 10/11-10/13:
(in the Library, room 806)
- Wednesday, 10/11 Last Names A-G
- Thursday, 10/12 Last Names H-M
- Friday, 10/13 Last Names N-Z
You MUST bring your school-issued Chromebook, charged. During this time, we will
- verify Chromebook is updated
- have all students sign into Bluebook, the app where the PSAT is taken
Before the check-in, please do the following:
- Restart your Chromebook ON CAMPUS
Students who do not attend the digital check-in will not take the PSAT on October 18.
STUDENTS WHO DO NOT BRING THEIR FULLY-CHARGED SDUSD CHROMEBOOK TO THE TEST WILL BE EXCUSED FROM TESTING.

- LAST NAMES A-K, Check-in at 8:30 AM
- LAST NAMES L-Z, Check-in at 12:30 PM
The test is shorter this year, we anticipate it taking less than 3 hours.
We will clear absences from any classes missed.
Students who arrive late will not be admitted to take the PSAT.What to Bring For Test Day
- Bring fully charged device. (Test can only be taken with school-provided Chromebook)
- A power cord and/or a portable charger (device should be able to hold a charge for 3–4 hours)
- An external mouse if you use one
- Valid school- or government-issued photo ID
Bring a pencil or pen
An acceptable calculator (Click Here)There’s a graphing calculator built into the app, but you can bring your own if you like.
Student ID Number
An email address
A large Ziploc bag with Snacks and Water, with your name on it
Bring a jacket or sweater (If you tend to get cold)
